Reproductive Equity Now Endorses Second Slate of Reproductive Freedom Candidates for State Legislature

With the fight for abortion access in the states, REN emphasizes importance of electing unequivocally pro-repro champions to Beacon Hill

BOSTON (August 11, 2022) – Reproductive Equity Now today endorsed its second slate of reproductive freedom candidates for the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives. These candidates will lead the way for bold reproductive equity policy on Beacon Hill and continue the work to break down barriers to the full spectrum of reproductive health care. They have a demonstrated record of advocacy on reproductive equity issues.

“The battle for abortion access will be fought and won in the states. From Massachusetts to Kansas, we’ve seen that investment in state work yields real results. That’s why it’s never been more important to elect reproductive freedom champions to the Massachusetts Senate and House,” said Rebecca Hart Holder, executive director of Reproductive Equity Now. “We are proud to endorse this group of leaders who continue to be unwavering in their support of reproductive equity advocacy and policy. They understand that every person—regardless of their race, zip code, or income—must have equitable access to the full spectrum of reproductive health care. We look forward to continuing to work together to make our Commonwealth a model for the rest of the nation of what true reproductive equity can look like.”
