Sarah Wrean
Sarah Wrean joined Reproductive Equity Now in the fall of 2024, and in many ways the role of Event Manager for repro work feels like a professional “coming home”. She is a lifelong reproductive justice advocate, raised by a mom who worked for NARAL and drove around with the only pro-choice bumper sticker in town in ‘90s New Hampshire. At Connecticut College and then Northeastern University, Sarah studied government, public policy, and gender studies and is passionate about the ways that society, law, and gender intersect. Since 2011 Sarah has lived in Massachusetts, slowly making her way from Boston out into the woods of central Mass. She’s spent her career in fundraising and programmatic roles at New England-based mission centered organizations. Most recently, Sarah was the co-Director for Programs at Inward Bound, a nonprofit delivering meditation retreats and mindfulness programming to teenagers all over the country. When Sarah isn’t working, she can be found gardening in her yard with her three dogs, cooking or baking a new recipe, or enjoying live music with her spouse. In any of these situations, she’ll definitely be singing.
