Reproductive Equity Now Proudly Announces First Massachusetts Endorsements of 2026

Endorsed candidates include Maura Healey for Governor, Kim Driscoll for Lt. Governor, and Andrea Campbell for Attorney General

Boston (May 29, 2026) – Today, Reproductive Equity Now proudly announced its first slate of endorsements in Massachusetts for the 2026 election cycle, endorsing:

  • Maura Healey for Governor

  • Kim Driscoll for Lieutenant Governor

  • Andrea Campbell for Attorney General

“Reproductive equity remains on the ballot this year, which is why we are proud to endorse this incredible slate of candidates,” said Kathleen Melendy, Massachusetts State Director, Reproductive Equity Now. “Ongoing federal attacks on abortion access and bodily autonomy — especially post-Dobbs — have made it clear that reproductive rights cannot be taken for granted. Massachusetts voters are looking for leaders who will not only defend access to care, but also work proactively to strengthen and expand it. That’s why it is so important that we elect reproductive equity champions up and down the ballot this November, and why we are proud to support Maura Healey, Kim Driscoll, and Andrea Campbell, who are committed to advancing a bold reproductive equity agenda for Massachusetts.”

“As the Trump administration continues its attacks on reproductive freedom across the country, Massachusetts needs leaders ready to protect access to abortion,” said Governor Maura Healey. "We’re proud to have the endorsement of Reproductive Equity Now. I look forward to our continued partnership in ensuring Massachusetts remains a national leader for reproductive rights and essential care, and I promise to never back down from that fight."

"We’re excited to receive Reproductive Equity Now's endorsement for reelection,” said Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll. “As our opponents turn a blind eye to Trump's abortion bans and attacks on healthcare, Governor Healey and I will continue to stand up for safe and accessible reproductive care because everyone deserves the right to make their own health care decisions."

“Reproductive freedom is a fundamental right, and reproductive equity means making sure that right is real for everyone – regardless of race, income, or zip code. Reproductive Equity Now has spent years fighting to make that vision a reality in Massachusetts and across New England, and I am proud to have their endorsement,” said Attorney General Andrea Campbell. “At a moment when reproductive rights continue to be under attack from Washington and courts across the country, Massachusetts must continue to lead. As Attorney General, I will keep fighting fearlessly to protect reproductive freedom and equity for every person in this Commonwealth.”

Reproductive Equity Now is proud to endorse candidates who will ensure Massachusetts remains a beacon for reproductive freedom post-Roe, and continue to lead with creative, bold, and unequivocally pro-reproductive policy.
